The book “From Authors and Readers on Books and Reading” collects 42 stories from people related to writing and literature. The collection aims to show the authors’ first steps in reading, as well as the authors who inspired and changed them. Compilers of the new collection are Svetlozar Zhelev and Anna Lazarova, and notable Bulgarian writers, content authors, publishers, journalists, young artists and even children participate with their stories, explains Anna Lazarova.

“The oldest contributor to the book is 72 years old and the youngest is 9 years old. We really got a lot of different authors to write, like their personal story about how they started reading, what books got them provoked to focus more on literature, it also contains a questionnaire, a survey in which they all give their guidance to the future readers of the book, which books they like to give as gifts, which author inspired them to create something of their own and which are the books they re-read Lazarova said.

The premiere of the book “From the authors and readers about books and reading” in Burgas will be on November 21st in the Burgas library at 6:30 p.m.
