“The Walk of Books”: People from BNT read books to children on World Book Day – Around the world and in our country

On World Book Day, the presenters of the morning block on BNT “The Day Begins” Hristina Hristova and Simeon Ivanov and sports journalist Desislava Frantsova read favorite works of students from the National High School for Ancient Languages ​​and Cultures in the capital. The event is part of the “Walk of Books” campaign, organized by the “Bulgarian Book” Association.

Hristina Hristova read to the students the story “On the wire” by Yordan Yovkov, and Simeon Ivanov made them laugh with “Funny stories” by O’Henry. Desislava Frantsova focused on “The best footballers of the 21st century”.

Hristina Hristova: If there is something that a person should never abandon in his life, it is hope. The hope for better. The hope that somewhere out there is your white swallow that will give you healing or give you what you need most – the support of those around you.

Simeon Ivanov: We know that children currently suffer from unfocused attention. It’s hard for them to concentrate, because of technology, because it’s quite fast things that attract their attention. Therefore, I decided to concentrate and what I chose to read to them, to be something as percussive and synthesized as possible.

Desislava Frantsova: The initiative is wonderful. The more of them, the better. It is also thematic. Today is world book day. So there is nothing better than talking about our favorite books and children showing that they love to read.
