The official photos of the new Wuling HongGuang Mini EV have been released. The miniature budget electric car will undergo a facelift and will be unveiled on November 15. The updated model is called Macaron, reports CarNewsChina.

At the end of 2022, the Wuling Hongguang Mini managed to become the best-selling electric car in China, surpassing even Tesla.

And in May 2023, the Chinese electric car manufacturer SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile, part of which is General Motors, announced that Wuling HongGuang Mini EV has become the global sales champion among mini electric cars.

The new Wuling HongGuang Mini EV Macaron is mostly recognizable by its modified front end. Its headlights and bumper have been changed, and the design has smoother, more rounded lines. Rear lights have been updated. The dimensions of the compact hatchback remain the same.

Dimensions of Wuling HongGuang Mini EV: length – 3064 mm, width – 1493 mm, height – 1614 mm, wheelbase – 2010 mm.

The salon of the Wuling Mini EV Macaron has undergone more drastic changes. Inside, the steering wheel has been updated and the climate control switches have been changed.

A new digital instrument panel and an 8-inch multimedia touchscreen have also been fitted. The hatchback has also received Bluetooth. Inside there are already 15 compartments for small luggage, and the trunk volume with the rear seats folded is 734 liters.

Buyers will be offered five body colors: yellow, beige, avocado green, pink and iris blue.

The features of the Wuling Mini EV will be revealed during the presentation. The Chinese electric car is expected to keep the 27 and 41 horsepower engines, and its range after charging will be from 120 to 280 km, depending on the battery chosen.
