“Remember tonight. The night when, with the votes of about 250,000 people in a city of two million people, one person (whoever he is) will be elected mayor.
This is the moment when we can no longer talk about representative democracy,” said the musician Ventsi Mitsov in a post on his personal Facebook profile.
“Why did it come to this – I have an answer to that question and in the coming days I will write about it.
On my wall, because I haven’t worked in the media for a while, and the media for a while (strangely coinciding with the height of the soy parties) won’t even invite me to comment on breastfeeding in the MOL.
But one thing is certain.
In 1989 we went on protests. We occupied higher education institutions, went to night vigils and live chains.
We scrubbed our soles and left our health on barricades.
To bring it to the point where we are ruled by fat mamma’s sons of red aristocracy.
Remember this moment, because from now on, nothing good will happen in our country.
And, soy, don’t ever spit on the “dumb” people for not voting for you, but think about whether this is not because you managed to achieve perfection – with your hysteria, arrogance, paranoia and self-sufficiency, you managed to refuse everyone else from the idea of exercising civil your activity.
And now success has happened to whoever becomes mayor of the two in Sofia.
I think I’ll be out of town pretty soon. At least I can do that easily…“, Mitsov added.
