24-year-old Nacho Panteleev, who crushed coach Ferrari Spasov’s Golf with a powerful Mercedes and killed him on the spot, received threats on the phone and in social networks. That’s why he doesn’t want to show his face and tries to keep his family out of the public eye.
“He did not file a report. We have mentioned that there are some. He understands that they are the result of affect and public attitudes as a result of the incident. He is not looking for any protection or criminal responsibility from anyone, he is simply sharing it as a fact, he showed posts on social media networks and is looking to isolate himself,” his lawyer Vencislav Foti told “24 Chasa”.
On Thursday afternoon, the perpetrator of the tragedy with the football specialist himself wished to give additional explanations to the police. He presented his version of what happened on Saturday night, which differs from the hypothesis that the impact occurred during an attempt to overtake. “He did not accept Ferrari Spasov’s car. His memory of the accident is that it happened in a completely different way. He does not remember the impact itself. Panteleev also presented facts that, in my opinion, determine his responsibility, that is, that he is also at fault about this traffic accident,” said Foti succinctly.
According to people in the know, Nacho has a list of previous violations under the Road Traffic Act. Except for a pole being blown away in the center of Lyaskovets, the majority were in favor of speeding.
As “24 Chasa” wrote, the sporty AMG from the brutal accident with Ferrari Spasov is leased, but Nacho is not the lessee. The family of the man, who has no official income, lived on rent in the luxurious property on the main street in Lyaskovets, even had a lease, lawyer Foti pointed out.
