For the past few months, it looked like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s marriage was in trouble. And the reason for this, many decided, was the intimate moment in which the actor was caught with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. After the incident, Affleck and Lopez were spotted out and about on several occasions, apparently tense and in a bad mood.

In a recent interview with Vogue, however, JLo made it clear that her marriage is going more than well. And even something more. The singer revealed that she feels calmer, more confident and more beautiful precisely because of her husband Ben Affleck.

Now, almost a month after this confession, comes another proof that the couple is still happy together.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck hosted a poker and blackjack tournament in Las Vegas to raise money for the actor’s charity Eastern Congo Initiative.

Before joining their guests, the two posed on the red carpet where they showed off their impeccable style. Ben Affleck wore a blue suit with a white shirt, but decided to skip the tie.

Jennifer Lopez, typical of her style, opted for a dress with a slit that still showed some flesh. With David Koma’s asymmetric design featuring a built-in choker, the singer didn’t accessorize her outfit with much jewelry other than earrings and rings. From her Instagram profile, it is clear that she chose products from her own brand J.Lo Beauty for the make-up for the special evening.

While posing for photos on the red carpet, JLo and Ben Affleck didn’t get particularly intimate, but their behavior towards each other throughout the evening was very tender.

“Jen and Ben looked really cute together. She sat close to him while he played poker and at one point sat on his lap. Jen was very supportive of Ben as he played for several hours. He was winning and everyone at the event was impressed of his skills,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.
