“I had guests the night before, I drank 4-5 glasses of wine,” said the pop folk singer Deborah, who earlier in April was caught driving with 2.9 percent alcohol in the blood, on the “This Morning” show. Then she hit another car, which led to a drug test and later a blood sample.
“My body turned out to break down alcohol slowly, but the amount shown by the drug and the blood test, I think, are not correct,” she added.
The performer said that she slept for several hours and did not think that the alcohol in her body had not yet broken down. According to her, she did not feel drunk, but only tired, because she had been drinking with her guests until late the night before.
“I know it’s not normal and I wasn’t right in this case, I’m really very worried about what happened. I have a child and I don’t want to set an example like that. I’m really sorry for this, I didn’t expect it to happen.” , she also stated.
No lawsuit has yet been filed against her, but when one is filed, “I will not dispute my guilt,” commented the singer.
“The last 2 weeks I’m not well at all. Yes, I’ve been on medication for panic attacks for 4 months now. It’s a problem I’ve had for 10 years, but there was a lull for 5 years,” explained Deborah.
