The daughter of Catherine Zeta-Jones reincarnated in the image of her mother on her 21st birthday, wearing her dress from more than 20 years ago, writes fakti.bg.
Carice Zeta-Douglas, who is the youngest child of Michael Douglas, 79, and Catherine, 54, shared a series of photos from her milestone birthday via Instagram on Monday. In the photos, Carice is wearing the same floral dress her mother wore to the MTV Movie Awards in 1999. Catherine Zeta-Jones was 29 at the time.
“The most perfect 21st birthday I could ever wish for!” Karis captioned the photos with her friends and a shot of her blowing out the candles on the celebratory cake. In one of the photos, she posed in a pink silk dress that had floral detailing on the bust.
“You deserve it, sweet heart,” wrote Catherine herself to her daughter’s photos.
Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones began their relationship in 2000, welcoming their son Dylan the same year and Karis three years later. The “Wall Street” star is also the father of Cameron Douglas from his marriage to his first wife, Diandra Luker.
The actor also wished his daughter a happy birthday in his own Instagram post on Saturday, April 20, sharing a sweet photo of himself looking proudly on as Karis stunned on the red carpet.
“Happy 21st birthday my darling Karis! You bring me and the world such happiness Daddy,” Michael wrote. “I love you so much dad!” Karis commented in response, adding “Thank you for being the best dad in the world.”
Catherine Zeta-Jones also did not fail to share her love for their daughter in the comments.
“Happy birthday to you Karis. I love you. It’s so true. Everything is better because of you,” the happy and proud mom wrote.
