Hristo Stoichkov, the legend of Bulgarian football, is waiting for a new addition to the family. A video shared on his Instagram account revealed the happy news that he will become a grandfather for the second time in October. This time, he is expected to welcome a grandson from his younger daughter Hristina.
Christina and her partner chose the modern approach to reveal the gender of their baby to family and friends. With a specially organized party, they used balloons and confetti in blue, thus announcing that they would be welcoming a baby boy. This tradition, popular especially in the States, added more emotion to the excitement of the parents-to-be.
The video shows the endless joy of the whole family at the upcoming event. Hrystina embraces her father and mother with excitement, while Stoichkov himself does not hide his emotions, sharing in a statement in English and Spanish: “We’re expecting a boy in October. I’m the happiest person in the world!” For Hristo, who already has two daughters and a grandson, this is an exciting challenge that he is looking forward to, hoping that he will be able to pass on his football skills to this new family member.
