Sofia24.bg will tell you about Yitzhak Finzi, who turns 91 today. He was born on April 25, 1933 in Sofia.

He graduated in acting at VITIZ in 1955 and in the same year began his career at the Dimitrovgrad Drama Theater (1955-1957). Then he played in the Drama Theater in Burgas (1957-1960), after which he moved to Sofia. From 1960 to 1966, he was in the troupe of the Satirical Theater, after which he played in the Sofia Theater (1967 – 1988). This was followed by two years in the National Youth Theater (1988 – 1990), and from 1990 he was in the troupe of Small city theater “Behind the canal”. He also played on the stage of Theater 199, on whose Wall of Fame you can see his footprints.

In addition to the theater, Itsko Fintsi also has roles in many popular Bulgarian films, including “Counting Wild Rabbits”, “Villa Zone”, “Late Full Moon”, “Cricket in the Ear”, “Stolen Eyes”.

He also recorded many appearances in children’s TV shows: “Good night, children”, “Puss in Boots” and others.

In 2006, together with the director Lisa Boeva, he created the creative association “Filizi 33”. Their first joint film was the art-documentary “13 short opuses for the big screen”.
