A well-known VIP family has 21 undeclared luxury properties at home and abroad

The investigated family Nikola and Ekaterina Tuparevi, summoned for questioning because of a dirty order over their partner, turned out to be the owner of 21 properties at home and abroad, hidden from the authorities, the website Narod.bg revealed. The spectacular real estate affair is already being worked on “where it should be”!

The famous TV producer Niko Tuparev, whose name is behind popular formats on Nova TV and bTV such as “The Bachelor”, “Big Brother”, “Dancing Stars”, “Get Rich”, etc., and his wife – owner of the advertising agency “Ogilvy Sofia” Ltd., which not coincidentally serves clients from the ranks of Procter & Gamble, IKEA, VISA, Kaufland, Lufthansa, “Poschenska banka”, LIDL and many others, have been questioned by the SDVR and the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office for organizing an assassination attempt on partner of Niko Tuparev, with whom the TV producer has ongoing legal disputes.

After a thorough media investigation, it was found that the family has 21 undeclared luxury properties in Berlin, Dubai, Saint Tropez, Prague, Sofia, Varna, etc. The Narod.bg team also managed to take photos of Barov’s houses, apartments and offices.

Berlin – 3 apartments

Nikola Metodiev Tuparev and Ekaterina Ivanova Tupareva own three apartments in the German capital Berlin.

– The largest is in the diplomatic district at Egerstrasse 1, purchased for €1,530,000 in 2016 with an area of ​​over 320 sq.m.

The market value of the property is currently over 3 million euros. The property has not been declared to the Bulgarian authorities, Narod.bg’s sources are categorical.

In fact, this is the property where the shady family has been living for the past 7 years.

The famous Tuparevs own 2 more apartments in the German capital at 165 Danzinger Strase – new construction, for which the family paid over 1,000,000 euros in 2014. The schemers keep the apartments as an asset and almost never visit them, our sources said .

Saint Tropez, France – 3 apartments

In 2021, Ekaterina Tupareva, circumventing the Bulgarian and German tax legislation, purchased through her company “Sea Portfolio” OOD three apartments in the top center of Saint-Tropez – right across from the post office, where the iconic film “The Policeman of Saint-Tropez” with Louis de Phineas.

The price of real estate is salty – 1,750,000 euros each.

Dubai

People in the know say the family visits their properties in Dubai no more than 2 to 3 weeks a year. The properties have also not been declared to the Bulgarian tax authorities.

Prague

Katya Tupareva owns a house in Prague for over 1,500,000 euros. Her elderly mother, who had been arranged for a PR, was placed there, with a whole team of governesses, cooks and a driver taking care of her. Tupareva rarely heard from her infirm mother.

Sofia

Niko and Ekaterina Tuparevi they hide an emblematic apartment located in the navel of Sofia opposite the Russian Church. The location is on the 5th floor of Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. 8a.

The apartment has an area of ​​over 230 sq.m. The property was purchased in 2019 for €1,150,000 but is currently worth over €2,500,000.

Tupareva he also owns an apartment on “Marin Drinov” street in the ideal center of Sofia, next to “Oborishte” street.

The shadowy family also has an apartment on “Baba Nedelya” square next to the NDK with a terrace above the establishment there.

Separately, the TV operator owns a shop at Slavyanska Street 6, which is used as a gallery.

Katya Tupareva and there is an office building for over €3,000,000 at 60-62 Dospat St. next to the National Palace of Culture, where her company Ogilvy Sofia OOD is located, as well as an office building on the corner of Kaliakra St. and Rozova St. Dolina” in the central Sofia quarter “Lozenets”.

Ekaterina Tupareva she also turned out to be a large landowner – in Karlovo, her company “Rozov Proekt” OOD owns over 233 decares of land, on which she plans to produce rose oil and build a spa complex.

A Narod.bg source, who wished to remain anonymous, specified that the NRA and KPCONPI self-referred because the properties were not declared and they started checks on the origin of the funds and the way they were acquired.

Based on the data indicated above and the huge differences between the declared income and the funds spent by the Tuparev family, it is clear that the declared profits of the companies of Niko Tuparev and Katya Tupareva are drastically different from what is known to their counterparties (Nova tv and bTV for the companies of Niko Tuparev and Procter & Gamble, IKEA, VISA, Kaufland, Lufthansa, “Postenska banka” and LIDL for the companies of Katya Tupareva), which will be the subject of our next investigation, on which the editors are already working.
