A return to live concerts someday motivates the superstar, but while Dion is steadfast in her dedication to recovering from the rare neurological disease, she’s not so sure when she’ll be able to return to the stage.

The vocal performer shared that she has not defeated the disease. “It’s still in me and always will be. I hope we find a miracle, a way to cure it with scientific research, but for now I have to learn to live with it,” says the 56-year-old superstar. “Five days a week I undergo physical and vocal therapy. I work on my toes, my knees, my calves, my fingers, my singing, my voice,” adds Celine Dion. The singer does not hide that it is difficult for her physically and mentally to fight with a condition for which there is no cure.
Dion announced she was suffering from the syndrome in December 2022, when she canceled her Resorts World plans as well as her Courage world tour. She recently made several public appearances, announcing Taylor Swift’s Grammy Award winner for Album of the Year and attending the Boston Bruins-New York Rangers game on March 21.
