The leader of the Bulgarian Women’s Party, Vesela Draganova, has always been quite eccentric, even in her personal life. A few years ago, she stunned with the confession that she met her husband with an ad that she placed in the popular last century newspaper “Courier 5”.
In the ad, she described herself as a romantic woman, fond of poetry and animals, waiting to meet great love.
The opera singer Georgi Iliev responded to her search, who was also looking for a bride with newspaper ads.
Just a few months after they met on May 13, 2000, the two got married. It is here to be noted that until the day of their wedding, the two had not communicated intimately. But unfortunately their romantic story does not end with a happy ending, on the contrary. At the end of 2006, the attitude of the opera singer towards her changed sharply.
Vesela then learned that he had an extramarital affair that had been going on for more than two years. The ex-deputy from NDSV forgave, but shortly after Iliev took a new lover. Draganova discovered that her husband was cheating again after she hired a private detective to follow his every move. After showing Draganova video material proving Iliev’s relationship with another woman, she was offended and filed for divorce.
