Kevin Federline, Britney Spears and why he did not take an attitude to the custody of the singer

Britney Spears’ ex-husband recently released the surprising statement that their two sons no longer want to see her. And as if those harsh words weren’t enough, more followed.

Mystery surrounding Britney Spears

No one expected this from her

In an excerpt from his upcoming interview with Australian media (which will air on September 4), Kevin Federline admits that he was horrified by the fact that Britney had to be in custody. “I still feel bad for her,” he added.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were married from 2004 to 2007. During their marriage, their two sons were born – Sean Preston (16) and Jaden James (15). Custody over Britney began a year after their divorce, when the children were still small.

And apparently it was precisely because of them that Kevin did not take a stance on the issue of the custody of his then ex-wife. At least that’s his explanation: “The boys, the boys, the boys. I had to care and worry about them. There was no way I could interfere.”

But when it comes to the children’s relationship with Britney now, Kevin admits that they haven’t seen each other in a long time. “It’s been a few months since they’ve seen her,” he says.
