Memories of the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla are still very, very fresh. However eyes are more than ever on the next in line to the British royal throne – Prince William.
In the latest episode of A Right Royal Podcast, which was dedicated to Prince William’s Earthshot award, the conversation turned to the future reign of the current Prince of Wales and the name he will choose to be called once he becomes king.
Royal expert Roya Nikha, the only journalist to interview the Crown Prince since he became Prince of Wales, talks about his future title and why he is so determined to keep his name after his own coronation.
“He will certainly be William (V)”she says on the new episode of the podcast.
Nikha added: “When he started Earthshot, he was the Duke of Cambridge, but he was called Prince William. And that’s because he wants to be known as Prince William, because Americans know and love him as Prince William, love him more than any other public figure, according to a recent survey.”

They also explained what kind of king he thought Charles’s eldest son would be: “He will be a very radical monarch. The monarchy will look very different pretty quickly. He will change a lot.”
In the episode, royal experts were united in the opinion that William’s coronation will be very different from his father’s.
