It’s not long until the premiere of Zendaya’s new movie. “The Contenders” opens in theaters this Friday, April 26, and one of the most talked about things about it is the intimate scenes between the actress and her two co-stars Mike Feist and Josh O’Connor.

All three are in the roles of professional tennis players. After suffering a career-ending injury, Tashi (Zendaya) becomes embroiled in a love triangle. She becomes the coach of her husband Art (Mike Feist), who will have to face her ex-boyfriend Patrick (Josh O’Connor) in a Grand Slam match.
Even with its release, the first trailer of “The Challengers” hinted at the hot scenes. However, the actors approached them absolutely professionally, and in a recent interview, Zendaya emphasized that the work required coordination and synchronization between her and her colleagues. “It’s a dance,” she added.
The actress also revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she has already seen the movie with her parents. However, neither her reactions nor those of her relatives have shown any particular concern given the hot scenes. Rather, everyone accepted them with a smile.
“It was funny. Yeah, I thought it was funny,” Zendaya elaborates, adding that her family knew what to expect from the film.
The actress does not hide that, given her previous work in the series “Euphoria”, her relatives are used to more provocative content.
“Everyone has seen ‘Euphoria,’ so it’s not like the first time,” she notes with a smile.
