Brad’s new relationship is in crisis due to his ongoing divorce from Angelina

Brad Pitt’s drawn-out divorce from ex-wife Angelina Jolie is taking a toll on his relationship with Ines de Ramon, with the couple looking for ways to “move on”, say insiders.

Brad and Angelina’s messy split looks set to last almost as long as the relationship that preceded it, with the pair embroiled in a bitter legal battle following their shock split in 2016.

Although the couple has been legally separated since 2019, a contentious dispute – dubbed the “War of the Roses” – over their French estate and winery, Chateau Miraval, has delayed the finalization of the divorce.

For some time, 60-year-old Brad found a new love in the person of 34-year-old Ines, with whom he publicly appeared in November 2022. Their friends claim that the actor desperately wanted to cut all ties with his ex-wife in order to be able to to finally “shake off” the demons of his marriage.

“Brad really wants everything to finally be finalized. If it was entirely up to him, this would have been over a long time ago,” said an insider.

He also explained that Brad is eager to be free so he can move on with his life.

“Brad wants to move on with Ines, but he can’t because he’s technically still married to the mother of his children. The breakup isn’t easy, of course, but it could have been over in the last ten years,” the man added. “Brad has a great relationship with most of his children who have met Inez. They are happy that their father is happy and Inez is nice to the kids.”

Inez finalized the end of her three-year marriage to The Vampire Diaries actor Paul Wesley earlier this month, which was reportedly a driving force behind Brad’s desire to finally end his own marriage.

“Ines, who finalized her divorce from her husband and moved in with Brad, spurred him to finalize with Angie more than ever,” the actor’s statement also says. “Brad has fought hard to overcome his demons that emerged during his marriage to Angie. He doesn’t drink and has become the man who deserves the love he gets from Inez.”
