Bulgarian actress Maria Bakalova has a new big Hollywood project on her resume. She stars in Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh’s new film Mayday, Deadline reports.
Produced by Apple TV+ and Skydance, the film is written and directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daly.
For now, the details of the details of the plot of the film are kept secret, there is no clarity and what exactly Bakalova’s role will be.
Goldstein and Daly’s story is known to be original and not based on a book, comic or anything else.
Along with her, it was announced that the film will also include Marcin Dorocinski (“Mission: Impossible – Fallout – Part One”), Lovell Adams-Gray (Power Book II: Ghost) and Clark Johnson (The Wire).
For Maria Bakalova, this is another big project in which she will participate.
After rising in Hollywood with her role as Borat’s daughter in Borat 2, she went on to star in the horror films Bodies Bodies Bodies and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Her upcoming projects include Jerry Seinfeld’s comedy “Unfrosted” for Netflix, as well as “The Apprentice,” which will tell the story of Donald Trump from his early years as a real estate mogul.
