On the eve of one of the brightest and most Bulgarian holidays – May 24, the Day of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius, the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture and Slavic literature, the Municipality of Gabrovo honored the most outstanding and talented Gabrovo students by entering the names and their achievements in the “Gifts and Achievements” honor book.
In the crowded “Vazrazhdane” hall, before handing a diploma to each of the awardees, Mayor Tanya Hristova addressed the children, parents, teachers and coaches with words of gratitude for their courage, responsibility and efforts.
“Let’s show that the future of Gabrovo is extraordinary. It is focused in your dreams, in your striving, in your desire to be good, successful and remarkable.” – said Tanya Hristova and added: “Continue to carry the audacity of the creator, the ambition of the discoverer and the precision of the jeweler. Be resourceful, driven, bold in your dreams. Cross your paths with reason, and let what you create during this journey always come from your heart. I thank you from the bottom of my heart that today you are our dreams come true, our true gifts and achievements.”
The Ceremony of registering over 150 names of students from Gabrovo schools in the increasingly voluminous volumes of the book “Gifts and Achievements” turned into a true celebration of talent.
There were musical performances from the talents themselves, and all the time balloons made an impression, rising high, so that the expanses of young talents were wide, to fly and search, to be driven, proud and spiritual.
