“Maria Gabriel is leading the negotiations. I am not participating,” emphasized the GERB leader
The records of MPs will not affect the formation of the cabinet. This was stated by GERB leader Boyko Borisov on the sidelines of the parliament.
“One should not have a telephone nowadays. We have become a country of records. They recorded me in toilets, bedrooms, whatever. You were ecstatic to comment. In any legal state, an unregulated recording is not commented on”, he commented on the claims of PP-DB that the services made unregulated recordings of MPs.
“I have no other comment on the subject except impurity,” he emphasized.
Petkov: Politicians from the PP-DB were recruited by the services and the “deep state”
According to him, the purpose of these records is not to form a government. “They saw that everything was about to happen. I know that this serves various interests that do not want Bulgaria to stabilize”, Borisov was categorical.
“I don’t know what Kiril Petkov knows. I can’t comment on something I don’t know. I wouldn’t comment if I were him. This is unregulated, illegal. This is impurity. Because instead of talking about the budget, when we will finish the reforms – we talk about who signed up and how”, stressed Borisov.
Asked if the tapes scandal would affect the formation of a cabinet, he replied: “It won’t affect me in particular. Maria Gabriel leads the negotiations. I’m not participating.”
