A three-day Festival of Crafts and Arts begins in Dobrich
A festival of crafts and arts will be held from today to Sunday at Svoboda Square in Dobrich. The festival will bring together dozens of participants who will present part of the rich palette of Bulgarian traditions and culture. Traditional and artistic crafts, creators of applied and visual arts, workshops for young and old – all who combine personal production with creativity and tradition will have the opportunity to perform.
The festival will be richly decorated with the musical art of dance and singing ensembles.
Retro accents during the festival will be brought by graduates of the Vocational High School of Transport Service and Light Industry, from the specialties “fashionista” and “hairdressing”, who will recreate clothes and hairstyles from the beginning of the 19th century. There will also be a vintage car exhibition organized by the Tolbukhin Auto-moto Club.
A special guest of the festival will be the folk singer Galina Durmushliyska, who will hold individual and group lessons in a master class on “folk singing”. The participants of the master class will also have the opportunity to perform on stage on the closing day of the festival.
The organizer of the event is the “Dobruja – History, Traditions, Culture” Foundation in partnership with the Municipality of Dobrich.
