This year, it’s time to welcome aliens back to home soil PAIN. After a six-year hiatus, the band is embarking on a European tour, which will initially pass through “only” 17 countries and 33 cities. Certainly the absence of the eccentric Swedes has been felt, and this year fans will finally have the opportunity to experience their explosive energy once again.
Bulgaria will host “I AM on Tour” in Sofia, right on Halloween night (October 31, 2023) at the Mixtape 5 club.
“We are starting a new long journey with the ‘I AM’ tour and we couldn’t be more excited!” says Peter Tegtren. “I’m finally going to release some new songs before the tour starts and I can’t wait to bring them to every corner of the world with PAIN. So I AM on Tour! Are you with me?”
Together with Peter Tägtgren, PAIN includes a powerful group of musicians – his son Sebastian Tägtgren on drums, Jonathan Olsson on bass and Sebastian Svalland on guitar.
Fans can expect an energetic show filled with iconic PAIN tracks such as “Shut Your Mouth”, “Same Old Song”, “Call Me” and their current biggest hit “Party in My Head”. And as Peter already promised, something fresh will be added to the setlist.
But the good news doesn’t end there. Joining PAIN as a special guest is Finnish melodic folk band ENSIFERUM, who will be adding their brand of epic metal to the tour.
