The prosecutor’s office is asking the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about Curro’s murder

Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office (SGP) was self-reported by the media for Curro’s murder. This is reported by the prosecutor’s office, expecting official information on the case through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In the press release the names of Krasimir Kamenov are not mentioned – Kuro and his wife, but the prosecutor’s office promises that they will notify the citizens of the results of their investigation.

We remind you that the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Demerdzhiev stated, that the Ministry of the Interior will do everything necessary and with the partnership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to get to the objective truth about the death of Kuro and his family in South Africa. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is in communication with South Africa and a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be admitted to familiarize himself with the investigation.

National television on Thursday reported that Krasimir Kamenov, his wife, their child and his nanny were shot dead in their home in Cape Town.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs later came out with a position, that the Bulgarian Embassy in South Africa has been informed about the murder of four people in Cape Town, who are supposed to be Bulgarian citizens. The MFA then points out that official information from the relevant authorities in the country of accreditation has not yet been received by the Bulgarian representation abroad, which maintains operational contact with the competent authorities and services.

Krasimir Kamenov – Kuro made headlines in our country again a few months ago, when at the end of March 2023 Kuro was accused in absentia by the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office as a guarantor of the murder of Lyubomir Ivanov, a former employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. His name also appeared in the records, along with the name of Tsvetan Vasilev, from the prosecution’s briefing in the presence of the chief prosecutor Ivan Geshev, in which they loudly announced an investigation into a conspiracy to discredit senior magistrates and police officers.
