A black panther with strikingly beautiful black color arrived at the zoo in Burgas. The male specimen is 8 months old and is named Khalil. He is definitely one of the most beautiful predators, not only in the zoo, but also on the planet.

“Translated from Arabic, the name of the beautiful predator means friend. He is friendly and is friends with almost everyone”, said Krastyo Dubov, manager of the Zoo – Burgas, on Nova TV.
Dubov specified that the animal is of the Asiatic leopard species. “Kalil is almost 8 months old, he arrived in Burgas from a friendly zoo. We tried to socialize him, we succeeded somewhat. We are starting the construction of a 1-acre habitat for panthers, something that has not been done in Bulgaria until now. There will be a lake in it, and the environment will offer all the comforts for the panther,” added Dabov.
At the moment, the zoo in Burgas is looking for a partner for Khalil. An adopter of the animal is also being sought, who will help with financial assistance to purchase its food.
“I think that by the end of the year we will surprise all citizens of Burgas and guests of the city. Something that has not been done before in a Bulgarian zoo, I will keep it a secret so that it will be a surprise”, added Krastyo Dubov.
