The laureates of the National Student Oratorical Contest “Mission Awakener” were solemnly awarded today in the “Archaeology” hall of the Regional History Museum in Haskovo.
According to the regulation, the participants had to present videos of their performances lasting one and a half minutes. They were divided into three age groups – from 1st to 4th grade, from 5th to 7th grade and from 8th to 12th grade.
The laureate among the youngest is Alek Mihailov from Ruse, who received a diploma and a statuette. In second place in this age group is Katrin Ivanova from Veliko Tarnova, and in third place is Elif Ali from Kardjali.
Among the older ones, Vayana Nikolova from Veliko Tarnovo was ranked first. Second and third places in this age group are not awarded in the second edition of the national competition.
Diana Durcheva from Sopot received the prize for the largest. In second place is Ilker Iliev from Krumovgrad, and in third place is his compatriot Elena Petrova.
The prizes of the winners were presented by the secretary of the “Zarya” People’s Community Center, Alexander Milushev.
“From what the children showed, I am calm that there is already someone to hand over my activity in the community center and the culture of the city. I wish them much success,” said Alexander Milushev.
The award ceremony was accompanied by performances by graduates of the “Manol Ivanov” Music School at the “Zarya 1858” Community Center in Haskovo.
