BSP is second political power in terms of the number of municipal mayors elected in the first round – 44, said Kornelia Ninova. It is not clear how much she can be trusted, since in many places the candidates are either independents, to whom the BSP has given support, or they are multi-colored coalitions, including absurd ones, and several other parties can boast of the same mayors as theirs .
Excluding Ruse, where Pencho Milkov, despite Ninova, is about to win a second mandate, her only significant success is in Sofia – the only one that the leader did not respect in her campaign, after she was categorically shamed at the city conference. We remind you that she did not want Vanya Grigorova as the leader of the list, and this raised her at least twice as many votes, she delayed as much as she could the officialization of the candidacy of the trade unionist on behalf of the Reds.
The big shame for Ninova is Varna, where the BSP ruled until recently, and now it is eighth in the Municipal Council. We only remind you that this is the city of the organizational deputy. and the right hand of Cor. – Borislav Gutsanov. For hundreds, the ranking could have been even worse, and the same applies to Plovdiv, where Ninova made a great effort and managed to break the local organization by putting the MP with the nickname Bebeto, whose real name no one knows, at its head. In Bulgaria’s second city, the BSP is sixth by one count.
Ninova’s biggest defeat, however, was 28 times more votes for the former red mayor, whom she excluded from the party Stanislav Vladimirov in Pernik, compared to the personally patronized candidate of the leader. I hope that the televisions and other media, through which he created his “image”, will get their money. Because – as is known and repeatedly proven, the BSP with this chairman does not pay its bills.
