Almost BGN 13 million have been paid from the beginning of the year until now through the 8 POS terminals of the revenue agency in Kardzhali. A little over 26,600 residents of Kardzhal have benefited from the service, and 68% of them have paid their health contributions, reported the NRA in the city. In 2022, a total of 31,612 payments were made through the devices in the office of the revenue agency, and in 2021 they were 22,500.
Nearly 130 residents of Kardzhali have paid their debts online through the virtual POS terminal (the NRA e-service for payment), which is available in the Portal for electronic services with a PIK or with a qualified electronic signature (KEP). Through the electronic service “Information about the obligations with the possibility of payment”, users can make an online inquiry about the obligations to the revenue administration and pay them at the same time.
Cashless payment to the NRA is an increasingly preferred method of debt settlement, as it is fast and free of charge. In addition, the payment through the virtual and physical POS terminals of the revenue agency is reflected in the client’s tax and insurance account immediately, without the usual delay in bank transfers, the NRA office in Kardzhali specifies. Exceptions are payments to other institutions (for example, fines from the traffic police) or obligations in the process of enforcement, as they require additional processing and their distribution takes longer.
