Forecasters warn: Strong winds and rain are coming, yellow and orange code throughout the country – Bulgaria

During the day there will be scattered high, before noon in the lowlands considerable low cloud. Precipitation is not expected. The wind from the south will increase, in Eastern Bulgaria and in places north of the mountains it will be strong and with it the low clouds will break and decrease. Maximum temperatures will be mostly between 19° and 24°, in Sofia 19°-20°. A yellow code for strong winds has been announced in 15 regions of the country – Montana, Vratsa, Sofia region, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Kardjali, Haskovo, Yambol, Burgas, Varna, Shumen and Dobrich. Gusts of up to 20 m/s are possible in these places. A new increase will begin in the evening from the west of the district and in the extreme western areas it will rain rain. Po The Black Sea there will be considerable low cloud which will break and decrease in the afternoon. The wind from the south will increase and will be moderate to strong. Maximum temperatures will be between 19° and 24°. The temperature of the sea water is 16°-19°. The excitement of the sea will be 2-3 points.

IN the mountains there will be scattered high clouds, which will begin to increase and thicken in the evening, and there will be rain showers in the massifs of Western Bulgaria on the night of Saturday. A strong and stormy southwesterly wind will blow. The maximum temperature at a height of 1200 meters will be about 16°, at 2000 meters – about 9°.

The weather in the high parts of the mountains not suitable for tourism, the Mountain Rescue Service reported to BTA. The lift facilities in the mountain resorts are not working. The mountain rescuers recommend that tourists stay only in the low part on the mountain.

IN Saturday in the eastern half of the country, strong south-southwest winds will continue to blow, and in the rest of the country, the wind will temporarily shift from the northwest and temperatures will drop. It will be mostly cloudy over Western and Central Bulgaria, with precipitation from rainin significant places, with thundersare also expected hailstones. There will be scattered clouds over Eastern Bulgaria before noon, which will thicken after noon and there will also be precipitation in places. The maximum temperatures will be in a wide range: from 12-13° in the western regions to 26°-28° in places in Eastern Bulgaria.

They are in force throughout the country yellow and orange code for expected high winds and rain. A yellow code for potentially dangerous weather and heavy precipitation is in effect for: Kyustendil, Pernik, Sofia and Lovech, in Ruse and Sliven – yes wind, and in Veliko Tarnovo and Gabrovo – for rain and wind. A code orange is in effect for the rest of the country for heavy rain of up to 40-70 mm and hurricane force winds.

In the evening from the southwest, the precipitation will begin to stop and the cloudiness will break and decrease, at the latest, on the night of Sunday, in Northeastern Bulgaria.

Po The Black Sea during most of the day a strong south-southwest wind will blow, which will temporarily shift from west-northwest in the evening. Cloudiness will be broken, after noon it will thicken and rain will fall in places. Maximum temperatures will be 25°-28°. The temperature of the sea water is 17°-19°. The excitement of the sea will be 3-4 points.

Above the mountains it will be cloudy, with precipitation, in some places significant, with thunderstorms; above 2500 meters it will snow. A stormy south-westerly wind will blow, which will temporarily shift from west-northwest in the low areas after noon. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters is about 12°, at 2000 meters – about 7°.

IN Sunday sunny weather will prevail. It will blow weak, in Eastern Bulgaria to moderate wind from the south-southwest. The minimum temperatures in most places will be between 6° and 11°, the maximum – between 18° and 23°.

On the night of Monday from west to east there will be temporary increases in cloudiness and in some places, mainly in the northwestern regions, it will rain. The wind will be oriented from the west-northwest and will be temporarily to moderate.

IN Monday it will be mostly sunny again; after noon the wind will weaken, the temperatures will rise slightly.
