“Neoperl” completes the expansion of its plant in Dobrich, becomes the market leader in Europe (VIDEO)

Another large-scale investment was realized in Dobrich by “Neoperl Bulgaria”. The company is the biggest investor in the city for the last 30 years and among the biggest employers. With the new investment worth BGN 7 million, the Bulgarian company becomes the largest producer of flexible water connections in Europe.

The first sod of the new plant was made in April this year. The new facilities increase the area of ​​the plant by nearly 3,000 square meters, enrich its product range and create new jobs. Activities should be completed in less than 200 days.

The construction of the new facilities started at the beginning of April and is already at the final stage. The first reception-internal committee has already passed. After the contractor has symbolically handed over the keys, they will proceed with deploying the equipment, commented Veselin Velev, manager of “Neoperl Bulgaria” EOOD, in an interview with Pro News Dobrich.

It is expected that by the end of November, all equipment will be installed and production will begin. There, 50 new jobs are being opened, and the recruitment of personnel has already started in August-September.

The investment amounts to a total of BGN 7 million, of which BGN 5 million is only for the construction of the building. The equipment amounts to another one million euros.

Through the new investment, which will operate at full capacity at the beginning of next year, “Neoperl Bulgaria” becomes the largest factory in Europe for the production of flexible compounds for water in Europe, announced Vesselin Velev. A study was commissioned to find out where the company from Dobrich is located on a global scale.

Its customers are the world’s largest manufacturers – the largest manufacturers of sanitary products from all over Europe, South America, North America, from Central America – from Japan to Mexico and from Sweden to South Africa, we sell our products, says Veselin Velev.

“Neoperl Bulgaria” is part of the German-Swiss group Neoperl and is engaged in the production of flexible compounds for water. The story begins in 2000 with the Bulgarian company “Bulmat”, which in 2013 joined the Neoperl Group – a business with 60 years of experience, offering innovative solutions in the plumbing sector, and a world leader in its industry. The plant in Dobrich became a reality in 2018 after an investment of BGN 15 million. It currently employs over 400 people.
