Teachers, researchers and scientists from Bulgaria and Ukraine present their reports and research at a conference in Razgrad

Teachers, researchers and scientists from universities in Bulgaria and Ukraine present their reports and research at an international scientific conference that started in Razgrad. The two-day forum is entitled “New industries, digital economy, society – projections of the future VI”. The organizer is the Branch of the Ruse University in Razgrad together with the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria – Razgrad branch, the Regional Academic Center of the BAS, the Rotary Club and the House of Science and Technology in the city of Ludogorsk.
Deputy regional governor Ivelina Ignatova wished the participants fruitful work. “I am convinced that today’s conference will provide an opportunity for the participants to exchange knowledge, experience and good practices in the thematic areas. What I think makes the forum useful is the direct connection between science and industry,” said Ignatova. She added that the regional administration will continue to support every good initiative of the University of Ruse and the Branch in Razgrad.
Deputy Mayor Habibe Rasim addressed the organizers and participants with a greeting. “It is especially important for our region that your research and scientific reports can also have a practical application in economic entities that develop their activities in Ludogoriets. Their development is a motivation for young people from the region to stay or return to their homeland to build their careers and lives here,” she pointed out.
“We can proudly say that the Razgrad Branch is one of the most serious scientific and research bases of the University of Ruse and the Mecca of biotechnology and chemical technologies”, said in his address to participants and guests Prof. PhD. Diana Antonova, vice-rector of Ruse University and scientific secretary of the conference. She explained that the name of the conference enables the authors to present their views in all scientific directions and professional fields in which the university works.
The administrative director of the Razgrad Branch, Prof. Ph.D., also wished the participants a good time at the conference and a successful presentation. Stanka Damyanova. She stated that what is shared in the reports and scientific announcements of the teachers and scientists will contribute to the development and enrichment of scientific thought. “I believe that every meeting during the conference in the sections, every united idea and thought will enrich your scientific experience, give rise to new collaborations and projects. This is the most important thing for us,” Damyanova said.
After the official part, the plenary reports began, the first of which was by Prof. Angel Smrikarov from the “Angel Kanchev” University of Ruse, who spoke about the professions of the future. The other plenary report was on “Hydrates and complexes of magnesium sulfates – synthesis, structure and properties” by Prof. Dr. Rositsa Nikolova” from the Institute of Mineralogy and Crystallography at BAS-Sofia.
Within the conference, 38 sectional reports with current scientific and production topics will be presented. Representatives of the companies from the region, working in the field of the thematic areas of the scientific forum, will also participate in the meetings of the conference. The authors of the best reports by section will be awarded with a Certificate and Crystal Prize of the Rector of Ruse University.
