At a solemn ceremony today, the graduates of the class of 2023 of the Medical College at Trakia University – Stara Zagora took their medical oath of allegiance. A total of 69 bachelors with an average graduation rate of many good 5.08 complete the specialties “Rehabilitator”, “Medical Laboratory Technician”, “Assistant Pharmacist” and “Medical Cosmetologist”, and start their career path.
“Dear graduates, 4 years ago we started a fairy tale with the idea of starting new majors at the college. And this year, assistant pharmacists and medical beauticians graduated for the first time. Today I see that what we have planted is already bearing its fruits!” said Prof. Dobri Yarkov, rector of Thrace University, in his address to the graduates. “You should be proud to have studied and graduated here! I have no doubt that you are well prepared to start your career development tomorrow. Remember that from here on you are the ambassadors of Thrace University – have the self-confidence of knowledgeable and able people, dream and believe that dreams do come true!”
This year, Bistra Lestevska from the specialty “Pharmacist’s Assistant” was awarded the title “excellent of the graduating class”. The top student of the class graduated with an excellent 5.95 and received his diploma from the rector, Prof. Yarkov, as well as gifts from the Acting Mayor of the Municipality of Stara Zagora – Mr. Radostin Tanev, from Mrs. Teodora Noncheva – deputy regional governor, as well as representatives of branch organizations and business partners. The director of the Medical College – Prof. Anna Tolekova – presented Bistra Leshchevska with a special diploma.
Among the honors of the graduating class were also the leaders in specialties – Eleonora Petkova from the specialty “Medical Cosmetologist” with a grade of 5.84, Vladimir Blagoev, who graduated from the specialty “Assistant Pharmacist” with an excellent 5.82, Stefan Rusev, who graduated from the specialty ” Rehabilitator” with an excellent grade of 5.57, as well as Iliana Atanasova, who graduated from the “Medical Laboratory Technician” specialty with an excellent grade of 5.54.
And as tradition dictates, at the end of the ceremony, the academic caps of the graduates flew into the sky with wishes for many future successes and fair winds in professional development.
