Prof. Ph.D. Venka Kuteva-Tsvetkova: Despite our party differences, I will support Daniel Panov because of his personal and managerial qualities

Daniel Panov and I are representatives of different political formations. However, I would like to highlight his personal qualities and purely human dignity. During the covid pandemic, he showed exceptional civic activity and responsibility, personal empathy for the people of Veliko Tarnovo – through phone calls, consultations with doctors, he provided exceptional support to dozens of residents of Veliko Tarnovo, including our family, for which we are very grateful to him. During the pandemic, I also had to turn to him because of colleagues from Veliko Tarnovo University who had serious health problems and needed urgent hospitalization. He responded to my request immediately and did everything possible.

This was stated by the public figure, university professor and two-term dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Ph.D. Venka Kuteva-Tsvetkova.

“I also want to emphasize that during his administration he fully supported the University of Veliko Tarnovo “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” – something that I have witnessed in my capacity as dean of the Faculty of Education for two terms. I was particularly impressed by his personal involvement in solving infrastructure problems in Veliko Tarnovo and the region, such as the major accidents of the main water supply in Prisovo. There, he personally supervised the repair work and the restoration of the damage,” said Prof. Kuteva-Tsvetkova.

“If we look at the data of the National Statistical Institute on how the cities in Bulgaria are developing, a serious decline is observed in terms of the number of the population – for example in Ruse and Stara Zagora. Our city of Veliko Tarnovo is currently one of the most prosperous and rapidly developing cities and is in the top 10 of this ranking. This is another proof of Mr. Panov’s management skills, which are highly appreciated at the national level as well. For these reasons and many more, on Sunday I will fully confidently support Daniel Panov with my vote for a fourth term as mayor of Veliko Tarnovo”, concluded the lady respected throughout Veliko Tarnovo.
