Despite the warnings of heavy rains in the country today, it seems that the rain surprised us again. In Plovdiv, a serious amount of rain fell in the early afternoon.

Until now, if we thought the subject of the reconstruction of “Dame Gruev” street was funny, now it is not so much anymore. The condition of the street opened for traffic yesterday, after two years of repair and asphalting two weeks ago, is “watery”. Just a day after the cars were able to “taste” the new pavement, today huge puddles will create an obstacle for them. The same goes for pedestrians. The “zebras” from “Pere Toshev” street are flooded. Residents of the neighborhood joked that instead of saying “look” it should read “look and swim”.
“The sea (Ohrid and Stip) is meters away from “Dame Gruev”. The shafts are blocked, but who is going to clean them?,” commented other residents of the neighborhood.
So, all happiness for three days or until the first heavier rain, of course.
