The Municipality of Sliven will assist in the creation of a local club for board games by providing a place where future members will gather. This was announced by Deputy Mayor Pepa Chilikova, who opened this year’s edition of Night of the Games in Sliven.
“I want to thank everyone who became part of the organization of the games. I am glad that the Municipality supported a different and interesting event, which gives the children and youth of our city the opportunity to have fun together, discover new challenges, learn new things and, above all, make new friends. I wish that next year the event will be even bigger. It is a pleasure for us that we can be partners”, said Pepa Chilikova.
The organizer Denislav Mievski thanked the Municipality for its partnership and expressed confidence that even bigger events are yet to come.
“The event is twice as large as last year’s. We thank the Municipality of Sliven for the financial and material support so that it could happen in this way. I believe that with this support, we will soon have a club for board games in Sliven,” said Denislav Mievski.
Both young and old can have fun in the “Sliven” hall until 9 p.m. today. There are board games for all ages, mini tournaments with prizes, a panel dedicated to children’s games.
One of the surprises is a special game created by a group of young people from Sliven, which visitors can try on the spot.
Residents and visitors to the city can also join demos of games such as Star Wars: Legion, Dust 1947 and Infinity.
The event in Sliven is held for the second time and is part of the fifth edition of the City Festival Sofia Game Night, which is organized in 8 other Bulgarian cities. Entrance is free.
