Residents of three municipalities in the Ruse region elect a mayor in a runoff

In the Ruse region, there will be a runoff for mayor in the municipalities of Ruse, Dve Mogili and Borovo. This was announced by the Municipal Election Commissions.
The runoff for the mayor of Ruse is between Ivan Ivanov from GERB and Pencho Milkov from the local coalition “BSP for Bulgaria”. 134,565 voters have the right to vote in the municipality. They can exercise their vote in a total of 217 sections. Four of them are additionally opened – in the two University Hospitals in the city, in the detention center and in the Center for Mental Health, and another three are mobile – for people with disabilities. In 203 sections it will be possible to vote by machine.
Bozhidar Borisov from GERB and Dragomir Draganov from SDS are appearing in the second round for mayor of Dve Mogili. 6,961 people have the right to vote in the municipality. They will be able to cast their vote in 16 sections. One of them is mobile – for people with disabilities. In 10 of the sections it will be possible to vote by machine.
The runoff for the mayor of Borovo is between Valentin Panayotov from GERB and Simeon Ivanov from the local coalition “BSP for Bulgaria” (the party “Gergeovden Movement” and the coalition “Levitsata!”). The voters with the right to vote in the municipality are 4628. They will be able to cast their vote in 11 sections. One of them is mobile – for people with disabilities. In eight of the sections it will be possible to vote by machine.
In addition to the three municipal centers, there will be a runoff for mayor in another 15 small settlements in the Ruse region.
