A specialized police operation is taking place today on the territory of the Vidin region, reports the ODMVR – Vidin. Law enforcement officers check motor vehicles and persons from the active criminal contingent, inspect commercial establishments and drinking establishments. The actions of the teams are aimed at preventing crimes related to electoral legislation and the political rights of citizens, countering conventional crime and protecting public order. Based on the police analysis after the first round of local elections, the active control and preventive activity today is aimed at risky settlements in the region. On the weekdays of the week between the two rounds, checks were carried out on 8 signals. The results of the inspections have been reported to the prosecutor’s office.
