The municipalities of Berkovitsa, Boychinovtsi and Medkovets are electing a mayor today

29,600 residents of the Montana region vote in the second round.

In the Montana region, today there are elections in 84 SIKs, of which 6 are mobile. 29,600 voters have the right to cast their vote. There are runoffs for municipal mayor in three municipalities in Montansko – Berkovitsa, Boychinovtsi and Medkovets. There, the current mayors are fighting for a new mandate.

There will also be elections for mayors of town halls outside these three municipalities – in Montana, Brusartsi, Valchedrum, Lom and in Varshets. Security is entrusted to 153 policemen. Citizens can report violations that impede the normal course of the election process and are relevant to the actions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on the 24-hour telephone line of the Ministry at 02 90 112 98 and at 096 396323, as well as at e-mails – [email protected] and [email protected]. An organization has been created and the units of the “Bulgarian Identity Documents” Directorate will work on the day of the runoff from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In the Montana region, all 84 sections, where the second round of the mayoral elections are produced, are open and working.
