All necessary measures have been taken for the protection of public order, fire safety and ensuring a peaceful election day. The employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Pleven have taken over the security of 288 polling stations.
We remind you that armed persons and those carrying objects dangerous to life and health are not allowed in the election premises. The use of mobile phones, cameras or other recording equipment to record the voting process is prohibited. The employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs provide external security at the polling stations. They intervene to restore order when this is necessary and there is a corresponding decision of the electoral commission.
From September 29 to November 6, 2023, a 24-hour telephone line 02/90 112 98 will be open in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and in the territory of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications – Pleven – the 24-hour telephone line is 064 – 864 – 323. To them, as well as to e-mail izbori@mvr .bg, citizens can report violations or possible crimes they have noticed, related to the responsibilities of the Ministry of Interior in the electoral process. An organization has been created for a continuous service mode of the lines. Signals are also accepted at the regional offices, as well as at tel. 112.
Today, the employees of the “Bulgarian identity documents” sectors in ODMVR – Pleven and RU under ODMVR will work from 08:30 to 19:30 and will issue certificates (for lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed or expired identity cards ) in order for citizens to be able to exercise their electoral rights.
