The election day in Loveshka region began in a calm atmosphere, the regional directorate (OD) of the Ministry of the Interior informed BTA.
All necessary measures have been taken to protect public order, fire safety and ensure a peaceful election day. The employees of the OD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Lovech, have taken over the security of all sections on the territory of the district.
Reports of crimes or violations impeding the normal course of the election process can be submitted to the 24/7 telephone line -068/600 496 and email: [email protected], as well as to 02/90 112 98 and email: izbori @mvr.bg at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
And today, the employees of the “Bulgarian identity documents” sector at the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs-Lovech will work from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will issue certificates (for lost/stolen/damaged/destroyed identity cards and documents with expired term) in order for citizens to be able to exercise their electoral rights. Certificate applications will be accepted until 7:00 p.m.
A total of 10 certificates have been issued since October 30.
There is a runoff for mayor in Loveshko in two municipal centers – Lovech and Teteven, and in another 20 small settlements in the region. The Municipal Election Commissions informed BTA that the election day started normally in all sections.
