Voter turnout at 09.00 am is lower than during the first round of the monthly elections a week ago. This is according to the data from the Exit poll of the sociological agency “Gallup International Balkan” – a partner of the BNR for the local vote.
In Varna, at 09.00 hours, 1.5% of people with the right to vote voted, compared to 3% a week earlier.
In Sofia, the voter turnout at 09.00 was 1.3%, after 1.9% of Sofians voted at the same time in the first round. In Plovdiv, the voter turnout at the same time was 1.1% compared to 2% of the vote a week ago, and in Blagoevgrad – 4.1% compared to 6% in the first round of the local elections.
“It seems that in Sofia we have a little lower activity compared to the first round. In Plovdiv on this round the activity at 09:00 is 1.1% – lower than the first round. As for Varna, the turnout is 1.5% – also lower than last Sunday’s elections.
Expectedly, the activity is moving a little or much lower everywhere compared to the activity from the first round”, Parvan Simeonov, the executive director of Gallup International Balkan, pointed out to BNR.
