A report of a fallen tree was received in the Shumen City Garden area. A woman who was under him was injured. A rescue team managed to get her out and put her in an ambulance. The injured woman is 66 years old. After examination at the local hospital, it was determined that she had a fractured first lumbar vertebra, a dislocated right ankle and a fractured fibula in her right leg. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Asya Yordanova.
More than 40 signals were received in less than 15 minutes at the duty units of the fire department and the police in Shumen after a strong storm in the region, Yordanova reported.
