The election day in the Ruse region has started everywhere. Its end is announced at 20.00, but exceptionally where there are people waiting to vote, it can be extended by another hour, i.e. to 9 p.m. There are currently no reports of violations anywhere in the region and all 257 sections opened on time.

The organization of the sectional committees is very good and there is no delay in the voting process. Voting is fast with almost no waiting time. Where necessary, all changes in the composition of the sectional election commissions were timely.

We remind you that voting is done with a Bulgarian identity card or a personal /green/ passport /for those born after 31.12.1931/ A member of the SIK tears off the ballot and puts a stamp on its back. Then the voter votes for the chosen party, coalition, local coalition or independent candidate. A pen writing in blue with an X or V sign is voted for, only one preference is noted.

It is expected that there are 217 sections in the municipality of Ruse. There are 4 in Byala, 3 in Vetovo, 16 in Dve Mogili, 1 in Ivanovo, and 5 in Slivo Pole. There will be machine voting in a total of 230 sections, which is in nearly 90 % of all sections. In the municipality of Ruse, there are a total of 202 sections with machines. There are 8 in Borovo, two each in Byala and Vetovo, 10 in Dve Mogili, one in Ivanovo, and 5 in Slivo Pole. According to data from the Municipal Election Commissions, there are currently no problems in the region with the machines. In the city of Ruse, there is a problem with electronic devices in 4 sections. For

these sections are currently voted on by paper ballots while waiting for a technician to see if the problem can be fixed.

There are exposed and movable sections almost everywhere. Their number is a total of 6, with three of them in Ruse, and one each in Borovo, Byala and Dve mogili. Sections were also opened in some of the hospitals, as well as in the detention center in Ruse. Patients of the two university hospitals “Kanev” and “Medica”, as well as the Center for Mental Health in Ruse can also exercise their right to vote.
