“Eat healthy, drink a lot of water, smile a lot and do a lot of good things for Sofia.” That’s the recipe for a successful mayor, according to nutritionist Angie Casabie.
For bodybuilder and chef Emmanuel Iuji, people are interested in the small changes – whether the street in front of the entrance is managed, whether the garbage is collected on time. “Pay attention to small steps,” he advised.
Kasabie considers herself Bulgarian because her home and heart are here. “Before others make changes, we must make our own internal changes – when I develop and help the colleague next to me to develop, the whole country will develop properly. When I look only at my plate, there is really no way the country can change,” she said. As a woman, she pointed out that a mother should not only look after her children but also herself.
Iyuji agrees that it all starts with ourselves. “When we are healthy, we can do anything in life. Health and our body is the main tool,” he said. The chef-athlete pointed out that when a person takes more time for himself, pays attention to how he eats, it would help to have a good metabolism and do his job well.
Both are adamant that variety is important in nutrition. Balance is the key to everything we want to achieve, Iuji said. Kasabieh recommended that people first of all calm their nervous system and eat what they love most, to include colors and aroma in their food. Pimples, stretch marks, odor depend on the quality of the food. Without carbohydrates, we cannot have energy, the body needs all types of food, from all groups – carbohydrates, proteins, vegetables, fruits, respectively minerals and vitamins”, added the nutritionist
According to the chef, people should make time for sports, eat a variety of foods, being aware of where the food comes from. “There has to be discipline to have traceability,” he said.
