Dr. Valentin Hristov, nominated by GERB with 19.44% and the independent candidate Georg Spartanski with 18.38%, are running for mayor of the municipality today.
All polling stations opened at exactly 7 a.m. without any problems, the municipal election commission announced.
Over 154 voting machines are distributed on the territory of the municipality, and 108,877 voters have the right to vote.
