The 110th anniversary of Themis was celebrated with a solemn ceremony in Blagoevgrad. The local magistrates were honored by the president of the Supreme Court of Cassation Galina Zakharova, Atanaska Dishev – member of the Supreme Judicial Council, Olga Kerelska – member of the SJC, Lubomir Krumov – Inspectorate of the Supreme Judicial Council, the president of the SAC Daniela Doncheva, by Mimi Furnadzhieva – deputy of the chairman of the Supreme Court, Evgeniy Staykov – deputy in the Supreme Court. Prosecutors, police chiefs, municipal councilors and teachers at YuZU were present at the glamorous ceremony, led by the head of the court in Blagoevtrad Petar Uzunov.
The Blagoevgrad Court was established in 1913 to protect legality and justice and the rights of citizens. During the celebration, the chairman of the District Court in Blagoevgrad, Judge Petar Uzunov, welcomed the guests and emphasized that the court has preserved its independence, thanks to the worthy people working and working in it. The magistrates were greeted by the children from the “Pearls” folklore group and the “Presto” music school. At the solemn ceremony, the winners of the school essay, poem, story, drawing, multimedia presentation contest were awarded. Those present had the opportunity to view the exhibition “110 years of Blagoevgrad Court”.
