The regional governor of Vratsa, Nadia Donkinska, convenes the first meetings of the newly elected municipal councils next week. This is done under the Local Self-Government and Local Administration Act, the governor’s office said.
In Borovan, the meeting is scheduled for November 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Then the newly elected mayor of Borovan Ivan Kostovski, the mayors of town halls and the new local parliament in the municipality will take and sign an oath and affidavits.
Noa, the next day, November 7, at 11 a.m., the first solemn session of the Kozloduy Municipal Council will take place, when the newly elected mayors of the Marinela Nikolova municipality and settlements will be sworn in, as well as the chairman of the municipal council will be elected.
On November 8, there will be two solemn meetings – from 11:00 a.m. in Oryahovo, the newly elected mayor Rosen Dobrev, the mayors of villages and municipal councilors will be sworn in for his fourth term, and from 3:30 p.m. in Roman Valeri Rolanski will be given the right to start his new mandate as mayor, together with the newly elected mayors of villages and municipal councilors.
In the coming days, traffic with sessions is expected to be completed for the municipalities of Vratsa, Byala Slatina, Krivodol, Hairedin and Mizia and Mezdra.
