/KROSS/ The virtuoso violinist Vadim Repin is again a guest at the Sofia Philharmonic on November 9. Conducted by Carlo Tennan, he will present a program that includes: Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky – “Reflection” No. 1 op.42 /arr. for violin and string orchestra/, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky – Lensky’s aria from the opera “Eugene Onegin” /arrangement for violin and orchestra/ and Camille Saint-Saëns – Introduction and Rondo capriccioso in A minor, op.28 /arr. for violin, piano and string orchestra/

Maestro Tenant will demonstrate the mastery of the orchestra with Serenade for String Orchestra by Elgar and String Quartet in F minor “Serioso” by Beethoven /arrangement by Gustav Mahler/

Among the particularly notable moments in Vadim Repinprez’s career in the last few seasons are the tours with the London Symphony Orchestra, with the NHK Orchestra and Charles Dutoit in Japan, with the London Philharmonic and Vladimir Yurovsky.
