The Bulgarian National Police celebrates its professional and patron holiday on November 8 – the Day of Saint Michael the Archangel, the saint who symbolizes power, order and legality, the reign of truth, justice and love.

The professional day of police officers will be celebrated in Ruse with several events that will take place on November 7, Tuesday.

The traditional solemn ceremony in front of the building of ODMVR – Ruse on Gen. Blvd. Skobelev” 49 begins at 1:00 p.m. with a representative formation of uniformed people and the laying of wreaths and flowers at the “Recognition and Glory” monument located in front of the directorate. After that, the program continues with a festive meeting of the employees of the ODMVR – Ruse.

The management of the ODMVR – Ruse extend an invitation to all former and current police officers, as well as to the representatives of the media, to attend the solemn event.

We also extend an invitation to all residents and guests of the city who wish to get to know more closely the work of the police structures and to touch the daily life of the uniformed officers who are out in the field every day, reports the ODMVR-Ruse. You can do this on November 7 between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the yard in front of the ODMVR building – Ruse/to Gen. Blvd. Skobelev”, where security police teams will be waiting for you; traffic police team; of the basic scientific and technical laboratory; the specialized tactical action sector, along with their vehicles, bikes and equipment.
