A candidate for mayor of Pleven was taken out of the polling station with the police. Election day started an hour and a half later because of himDarikNews reported.
The reports to the OIC against him and his representatives are two and for the same section. The first report was filed at 07:12 by the Chairman of the SEC that a candidate for mayor of the municipality of Pleven entered the section and prevented the opening of the commission’s work at the beginning of the election day.

He claimed that there were irregularities in the documentation and did not allow the voters to the premises. With these actions, the sectional commission was able to open the election day only at 08:30 after the intervention of a team of the Municipal Election Commission and a police officer.
The second signal was received by a member of the same SIC at 09:29 a.m. that again four representatives of the candidate for mayor of the Pleven municipality obstructed the conduct of the elections with their actions.

They behaved arrogantly with the commission, they pulled the voter list and the cob with the paper ballots. They refused to leave the section after repeated invitations from the members of the commission and did not give the voters the opportunity to exercise their right to vote at that time of the day.
After they found out that a team from the Municipal Election Commission was going to check, they left the section and the work of the SEC continued.
