A charity ball brought Emo Angelov closer to treatment in Thailand

BGN 16,420 was collected at the charity ball in support of Emo Angelov, which took place on Friday at the “Friends” bar-grill in Dobrich. The funds raised will be used to treat the 23-year-old at a clinic in Thailand. He has been in a wheelchair for 5 years, after a serious accident that left him paralyzed. A new treatment offer from the clinic in Thailand is the chance for Emo to walk and move his fingers again.

The organizer of the charity event was Yordanka Atanasova. Vanessa Kancheva, Dimitrina Germanova, folk dance club “Zhatvari”, dance group “Bulgarians” and DJ Team BG took part in the musical program. Through envelopes, an auction and donations, BGN 16,420 was collected at the ball.

“Your support gives me the strength to continue to fight this severe trauma that turned my life upside down and move forward to better days for me and all of you!” All together we managed to collect the amount of BGN 16,420, which brings me closer and closer to the amount needed for my treatment,” shared Emo Angelov.
